A man has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault after allegedly assaulting a man who was sitting in his car, authorities said Monday.
The man, identified as a man in his 40s, was arrested after the incident on Friday.
Authorities said the man was sitting inside his vehicle when he noticed a man wearing a red mask sitting in the front passenger seat.
The man told the man that he had seen him on Facebook, the Houston Chronicle reported.
The two then started arguing, according to police.
The two allegedly argued over whether the man should be arrested or not, the Chronicle reported, and the man began to strike the man.
The suspect then allegedly hit the victim with a hammer and drove off.
